Diesel special series

The DZMC series is a limited edition collaboration between Diesel and world-renowned Los Angeles tattoo artist Mister Cartoon (Mark Machado). He is known for his detailed black and gray tattoo style and his designs for stars such as Eminem and Dr. Dre.

The origin:
The collaboration began around 2012/2013. Diesel wanted to reinforce their “Only The Brave” image by giving an icon from street culture and the tattoo world complete artistic freedom over their most popular models.
Models:
The series consists of a limited number of models, such as the DZMC-0001 (based on an XL case) and the DZMC-0002 (based on the Mega Chief design).

The watches in this series are instantly recognizable by the artist’s signature:
Tattoo Artwork:
The dials often feature the iconic clown faces (Laugh Now, Cry Later), artistic cursive lettering (scripts), and spider web details that are typical of Mister Cartoon.
Limited edition:
Often only a few thousand pieces are produced worldwide (for example, 3800 pieces for the DZMC-0001), making them true collector’s items.
Personalized back:
The back of the case features a deep engraving of Mister Cartoon’s logo and the individual serial number.
Color scheme:
Often finished in matte black or gunmetal gray with gold or silver accents to mimic the tattoo aesthetic.
