Diesel DZ7000 series

Diesel’s DZ7000 to DZ7999 series includes some of the brand’s most iconic and recognizable watches. This range is almost entirely dedicated to the so-called “Daddy” family.

• Mr. Daddy (2.0): This is the flagship of the series. These watches are massive, with a case diameter of approximately 57 mm. They are known for their four independent time zones and complex dials.
• Little Daddy: Slightly smaller, but still substantial at 51 mm. These typically feature two time zones and a chronograph.
• Mini Daddy: The “modest” 46 mm version, usually with two time zones but without the extensive chronograph functions of its larger counterparts.

Movement:
Almost always quartz (battery-powered). Due to the multiple time zones, there are often literally several small battery-powered movements inside a single watch case.
Material:
Stainless steel (often with a PVD coating for color) and mineral glass.
Water resistance:
Usually limited to 3 ATM (30 meters). They are splash-proof, but despite their rugged appearance, they are absolutely not intended for swimming or diving.
Design:
The dials are inspired by car and airplane dashboards, featuring many screws, embossing, and layers.

Because this series (particularly the DZ7313 and DZ7333) was extremely popular, these are the most counterfeited watches in the world in the mid-range segment. Genuine models: Have a serial number on the back, and the sub-dials (small hands) all function.
