Diesel DZ5000 series

Within the Diesel watch collection, models with a DZ5xxx code (between DZ5000 and DZ5999) typically fall under the unisex and women’s lines. While the popular DZ4 series (such as the Mega Chief) and the DZ7 series (Mr. Daddy) are known for their oversized cases, the DZ5 series is often a bit more refined, yet still features Diesel’s signature “bold” DNA.

Size:
Generally smaller than the men’s models, ranging from 24 mm to 42 mm.
Style:
Often fashion-forward with experimental materials (such as denim straps or iridescent glass) and striking colors (rose gold, gold, and deep black).
Movements:
Almost exclusively quartz (battery-powered), ranging from simple “three-hand” models to compact chronographs.
The Dial (Crystal):
Many DZ5 models use iridescent mineral glass. This means the color of the glass changes (for example, from red to blue) depending on the angle of the light.
Water resistance:
Most models in this range have a water resistance of 5 ATM (50 meters). This means they are resistant to splashes and rain, but are not suitable for swimming or diving.
